Baseball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-4 to the Kirbyville Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Canyen Hollis was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kirbyville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers face off against the Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kirbyville, they will challenge Colmesneil at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
