Football Game Preview: Lummi Blackhawks vs. Ocosta Wildcats + Official Tickets

The Lummi Blackhawks will host the Ocosta Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lummi has given up an average of 30.1 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Lummi lost to La Conner at home by a 37-18 margin. The loss continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their meetings with the Braves: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Ocosta faced Northwest Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wildcats fell 20-14 to the Wolverines.

Defeat or not, Ocosta got some senior leadership from Ronin Rutzer and Jonathan Lewis. Rutzer gained 257 total yards and a touchdown, while Lewis picked up 100 receiving yards and one touchdown. Lewis showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 60 yards.

Lummi's record is now 4-4. As for Ocosta, their record now sits at an identical 4-4.
