Catholic Central has gone a perfect 3-0 against Caldwell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Crusaders will take on the Redskins at 7:00 p.m.

Catholic Central is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since December 8, 2025 on Thursday. They lost 55-30 to Edison. The Crusaders have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Caldwell entered their tilt with Wood County Christian on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They breezed past the Wildcat to the tune of 57-26. With that victory, the Redskins brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.

Catholic Central better keep an eye on Breighlee Moracco. She was instrumental in Caldwell's win, dropping a triple-double with 15 points, ten rebounds, and 13 steals. Moracco is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 40 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Lexi Franklin, who posted 13 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Caldwell was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They are 13-2 when they've passed the ball that well.

Caldwell's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Catholic Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Catholic Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Caldwell in their previous matchup back in December of 2021, winning 58-47. Will the Crusaders repeat their success, or do the Redskins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
