            Baseball Recap: Western Michigan Christian Warriors vs. Spring Lake Lakers        
        
		
        
        
            Western Michigan Christian's last matchup with Spring Lake could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's  matchup on Wednesday. The Warriors came up short against  the Lakers, falling  9-2. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Lakers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
 Western Michigan Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Quint Menefee, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.  Max Miller also deserves some recognition as  he  brought in his first  RBI of the season.
Western Michigan Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Spring Lake, their win was  their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-1.
 Looking ahead, Western Michigan Christian will square off against Mason County Eastern at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Spring Lake, they will take on Ludington at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Lakers are facing the Orioles at the right time seeing as the Orioles are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
