Volleyball Recap: Waldron Mohawks vs. North Decatur Chargers
Waldron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Decatur Chargers. The Mohawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
Waldron started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-12, 28-26, 25-8.
Waldron lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Averi Sheele, who had eight digs and seven aces.
