Baseball Recap: Alton Takes a Loss

Alton lost against Waterloo back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Redbirds fell 4-1 to the Bulldogs. The Redbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alton's defeat dropped their record down to 20-14. As for Waterloo, they pushed their record up to 23-10 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Alton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waterloo, they will venture away from home to square off against Edwardsville at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
