Malakoff entered their tilt with Fruitvale on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 2-0. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-26), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Malakoff's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Fruitvale, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Malakoff's road trip will continue as they head out to face Latexo at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fruitvale, they will challenge Neches on Tuesday.
