Volleyball Game Preview: Paloma Valley Wildcats vs. Newbury Park Panthers

The Paloma Valley Wildcats will challenge the Newbury Park Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Paloma Valley will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Paloma Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Temescal Canyon, sneaking past 3-2.

Paloma Valley wouldn't go down easily and took Temescal Canyon into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-29, 25-23, 19-25, 26-24, 15-10.

Chino Hills typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Newbury Park proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Huskies.

Paloma Valley's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-10. As for Newbury Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-17 record this season.
