Softball Recap: Monte Vista Christian Comes Up Short

Monte Vista Christian fell victim to Alisal and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Monte Vista Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samantha Bertoldi, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Bertoldi is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
