A Season-Best Performance from Vudrico Roberson Leads Haltom over Martin

On Friday, Haltom got the W thanks in part to Vudrico Roberson playing the best football he has all season. Roberson rushed for 394 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 94-yard run.

Roberson and Haltom will welcome Bowie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Roberson will face off against Darrion Bowers, the Volunteers' star rusher. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Larry Nichols Has Career-Day on Friday

Bowie was led to victory by Larry Nichols, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Nichols rushed for 215 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Bowie, bringing their record for this year to 4-3. Nichols and Bowie will challenge Haltom at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least 106 Rushing Yards from Kelton Barney

On Friday, Lamar got the W thanks in part to Kelton Barney playing the best football he has all season. Barney's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards.

Barney and Lamar are taking a road trip to square off against Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Barney will face off against Ibrahim Otokiti, the Colts' star running back. Will the contest be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Keenan Jackson Turns in Season-Best Effort

Keenan Jackson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Haltom to the win on Friday. Jackson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 133 rushing yards. He also punched in three rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Haltom is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Jackson and Haltom will face off against Bowie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Jackson up against the Volunteers' star RB Darrion Bowers. Will the matchup be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Sadly, Bralen Smith posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Grand Prairie over South Grand Prairie on Friday. Smith's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 63 yards.

Grand Prairie is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Smith and Grand Prairie will take on Sam Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
