Basketball Game Preview: Bracken County Polar Bears vs. Fleming County Panthers

The Bracken County Polar Bears will square off against the Fleming County Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fleming County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bracken County, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bracken County beat Pendleton County 44-40. The Polar Bears haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Fleming County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 58-54 to Nicholas County. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Bluejackets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Fleming County's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Bracken County, their win bumped their record up to 18-10.

Bracken County barely slipped by Fleming County when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 53-52. Will Bracken County repeat their success, or does Fleming County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
