Hamilton had won seven straight at home, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 12-3 to make it eight. They blew past the Holland Dutch 9-1. The Hawkeyes haven't had any issues with the Dutch recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

As for Holland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly eight runs.

For Holland's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Bos, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI. Another was Jacob Torres, who earned one run and two stolen bases.
