Mountain View scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Monday. Everything went their way against the Oak Grove Eagles as the Mountain View Spartans made off with a 19-4 win. The victory was familiar territory for Mountain View who now have five in a row.
Mountain View got a massive performance out of Tabby Smith, who went 3-for-3 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI. Mili Patel was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Mountain View has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Oak Grove, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
