On Tuesday, Cape Hatteras got the W thanks in part to Taylor Hickman playing the best basketball she has all season. Hickman went 7-for-13 to rack up 22 points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks, which was good enough to set a new career-high in points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Cape Hatteras' road trip will continue as they head out to face Hobgood Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hurricanes were victorious the last time they faced the Raiders, a win that might not have happened without Hickman: she almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards.
