Basketball Recap: Bayfield Starts Season with Victory on the Road + How To Watch

Bayfield had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They managed a 47-42 victory over the Piedra Vista Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolverines also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

Cameron Queen was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. Those 18 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tanner Vyborny, who posted nine points and six boards.

Bayfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-57 defeat against San Juan on the 6th. As for Piedra Vista, they have also already played their next contest, a 57-53 loss against Bloomfield on the 5th.
