Teasley came up big in Mendenhall's 6-2 defeat
Mendenhall was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Chloe Teasley did her best to prevent it. Teasley turned in nothing short of a gem: she pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off nine hits.
Even though Teasley couldn't lead Mendenhall over Columbia, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mendenhall has some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since March of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
