Harlan is 7-1 against Holmes since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Harlan Hawks will be playing at home against the Holmes Huskies at 5:00 p.m. Harlan's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Harlan's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Marshall 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Hawks were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Holmes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Sotomayor, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 415th, while the WILDCATS are ranked 135th).

Harlan's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7. As for Holmes, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
