It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Manawa ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Shiocton Chiefs 4-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Olivia Zielke spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up 11 Ks. Those 11 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
