It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cedar can now relate to. They fell just short of the Desert Hills Thunder by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The Reds' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Cedar saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sadie Parson, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Cedar's defeat dropped their record down to 25-6. As for Desert Hills, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-2.

Coming up, Cedar will take on West Field at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The Reds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Longhorns have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season. Desert Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
