Watford City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. 2025 welcomed they with an 81-57 loss courtesy of the Stanley Blue Jays. One positive for the Wolves, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Watford City's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Stanley, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Watford City will challenge South Heart at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stanley, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Stanley Blue Jays take on the New Town Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
