Denver East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Legend, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Denver East will be taking part in a tournament against Smoky Hill at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Angels are facing the Buffaloes at the right time seeing as the Buffaloes are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Legend, they will head out on the road to challenge Grandview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
