Basketball Game Preview: Munford Cougars vs. University Tigers

The Munford Cougars will take on the University Tigers in a tournament on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Munford lost to Collierville at home by a 57-40 margin. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Dragons are ranked 27th).

Meanwhile, University waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They took down the Red Devils 56-37.

University's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Munford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
