Soccer Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Takes a Loss

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the McAllen Memorial Mustangs, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 639th, while the Mustangs are ranked 49th).

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for McAllen Memorial, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial will square off against Sharyland at 6:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for McAllen Memorial, they will be playing at home against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
