Softball Game Preview: Sotomayor WILDCATS vs. Marshall Rams

The Sotomayor WILDCATS will face off against the Marshall Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Sotomayor is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Sotomayor took on O'Connor on Tuesday. Sotomayor fell 5-2 to O'Connor.

Sotomayor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sofia Anthony, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Harley Ullevig also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Marshall lost 12-1 to Warren on Tuesday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sotomayor's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Sotomayor took their win against Marshall when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 17-4. Does Sotomayor have another victory up their sleeve, or will Marshall turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
