Volleyball Recap: Saint Mary's Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Pinole Valley on Wednesday, Saint Mary came back down to earth. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish on Saturday. The Panthers have struggled against the Fightin' Irish recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Saint Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8.

Coincidentally, Saint Mary's and Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory will both be playing Christian Brothers the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Falcons at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Fightin' Irish will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
