Tapestry Charter won the last time they faced Mill Springs Academy, and Kingston Willingham did his part to make sure it happened again. The Tapestry Charter Titans enjoyed a cozy 80-62 win over Mill Springs Academy on Friday thanks in part to Willingham, who posted 23 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2023.

Despite the defeat, Mill Springs Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hampton Hill went 12 of 21 to rack up 45 points and eight boards. Hill's evening made it 28 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Sam Hartman also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Tapestry Charter's record is now 5-1. As for Mill Springs Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Tapestry Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-48 victory against Howard on the 3rd. Mill Springs Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
