Baseball Recap: Murphysboro Takes a Loss

Murphysboro managed to slip by Harrisburg the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Devils lost 12-3 to the Bulldogs on Friday. The Red Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Mason Bastien was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played.
