Volleyball Recap: J.Z. George Comes Up Short

J.Z. George was the 3-0 winner over North Side when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Jaguars fell just short of the Gators by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

J.Z. George's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-7. As for North Side, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, J.Z. George and North Side will both be playing Leland the next time they take the court. The Gators will host the Cubs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Jaguars will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
