Marshfield entered their tilt with Plymouth South on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Caroline Arruda spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Madelyn Whitaker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Sofia Blanco, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Marshfield pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Plymouth South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
