Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Desales Has No Trouble Against Westerville Central

St. Francis DeSales lost to Westerville Central back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Stallions blew past the Warhawks 3-0. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Stallions yet this season.

Gwen Stein went supernova, getting 12 digs and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Stein wasn't the only good server: St. Francis DeSales was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces every time they've taken the court this season.

St. Francis DeSales now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Westerville Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
