Recap: Horseshoe Bend Mustangs vs. Cascade Ramblers

The Horseshoe Bend Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 75-60 to Cascade. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Porter Larson, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Layth Bromgard, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Horseshoe Bend's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-9. As for Cascade, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Tri-Valley the next time they take the court. Horseshoe Bend will head out to face the Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Ramblers will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
