Volleyball Recap: Traders Point Christian Takes a Loss

Traders Point Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Bethesda Christian Patriots, falling 3-0. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-11.

Bethesda Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Katie Timberman out in front who had seven digs and five aces. That's the most digs Timberman has posted since back in October of 2024. Alyssa Crowder was another key player, getting seven digs.

Traders Point Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Bethesda Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 3-12 record.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Traders Point Christian and Heritage Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bethesda Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Anderson Prep Academy on the 27th.
