Basketball Game Preview: Maplesville Red Devils vs. Ellwood Christian Eagles + How To Watch

Maplesville is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Ellwood Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Maplesville will be strutting in after a win while Ellwood Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

Maplesville will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Dallas County, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. The Red Devils snuck past the Hornets with a 54-50 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Ellwood Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-56 heartbreaker at the hands of Central.

Maplesville's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Ellwood Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
