Baseball Recap: Montezuma Takes a Loss

Montezuma was the 4-3 winner over Colfax-Mingo when they last played one another back in May, but their luck changed this time around. The Braves fell just short of the Tigerhawks by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Montezuma's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Colfax-Mingo, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Montezuma is set to challenge their familiar foe Keota at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Colfax-Mingo will square off against rival Lynnville-Sully at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
