Basketball Game Preview: Cedaredge Bruins vs. Battle Mountain Huskies

The Cedaredge Bruins just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Battle Mountain Huskies at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cedaredge is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, Cedaredge narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Roaring Fork 40-37.

Meanwhile, Battle Mountain ended up a good deal behind Eagle Valley on Thursday and lost 43-28. The Huskies have struggled against the Devils recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Battle Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Cedaredge, they pushed their record up to 19-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Everything came up roses for Cedaredge against Battle Mountain in their previous matchup back in December of 2019, as the squad secured a 63-25 victory. Will Cedaredge repeat their success, or does Battle Mountain have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
