After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Colbert Heights, Tharptown was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They secured a 39-34 W over the Cherokee Indians. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 65-36 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Tharptown is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. As for Cherokee, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Tharptown will venture away from home to face off against Tremont at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cherokee, they will head out to square off against Phil Campbell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
