Kingsland is 10-0 against Wabasha-Kellogg since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Kingsland Knights will take on the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Kingsland ended up a good deal behind Southland and lost 45-30.

Meanwhile, Wabasha-Kellogg came up short against Bethlehem Academy on Saturday and fell 47-34. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Wabasha-Kellogg saw an underclassman step up: freshman Alaina McCann posted 14 points and eight rebounds. Those 14 points gave McCann a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brielle Adams, who had seven points in addition to six assists and six boards.

Even though they lost, Wabasha-Kellogg was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Wabasha-Kellogg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Kingsland, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Everything came up roses for Kingsland against Wabasha-Kellogg in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 58-29 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kingsland since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
