Two dominant signal callers in Crawford Moffitt and Brayden Jennings are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Hyde Park Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Brentwood Christian Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hyde Park is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
It was a proper cat-fight when Hyde Park duked it out with Grace Community on Friday. The Panthers walked away with a 28-20 victory over the Cougars.

Hyde Park's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hudson Hart led the charge by picking up 72 receiving yards and two TDs. Those two receiving touchdowns gave Hart a new career-high. Hyde Park also got a significant boost from Brenden Bartholomew, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 93 yards.
Brentwood Christian never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Bishop Dunne on Friday. They breezed past the Falcons to the tune of 41-6. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won three matchups by 31 points or more so far this season.
Hyde Park better keep an eye on Gabe Washington. He was instrumental in Brentwood Christian's win, picking up 71 receiving yards, while also punching in one score on the ground. Washington didn't just play on offense: he also made one tackle and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception.

The win got Brentwood Christian back to even at 4-4. As for Hyde Park, their record is now 6-2.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Hyde Park has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 196.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Brentwood Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 162.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything went Hyde Park's way against Brentwood Christian in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as Hyde Park made off with a 43-20 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
