Washington Academy found a leader in Bella Cirone as the team took down Foxcroft Academy on Friday. Cirone was dynamite, striking out 16 batters over eight innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than 11 strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
