Basketball Game Preview: South Knox Spartans vs. Parke Heritage Wolves

The South Knox Spartans will face off against the Parke Heritage Wolves at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. South Knox knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 27 matches -- so hopefully Parke Heritage likes a good challenge.

South Knox is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 67-56 win over Lanesville.

Meanwhile, Parke Heritage had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.3 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They blew past the Bulldogs 64-44. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 20 points or more this season.

South Knox better keep an eye on Emma Simpson. She was instrumental in Parke Heritage's win, almost dropping a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. Simpson has been hot, having also posted three or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Raegan Ramsay, who posted ten points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Parke Heritage smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive contests.

South Knox's record now sits at 25-2. As for Parke Heritage, their record is now 23-4.
