Soccer Recap: Colleton County Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Colleton County and Berkeley meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Colleton County Cougars came up short against the Berkeley Stags, falling 6-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2018.

Colleton County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Berkeley, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colleton County will take on Battery Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Berkeley, they will face off against Summerville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
