Soccer Game Preview: Epping vs. Concord Christian

The Epping Blue Devils will head out on the road to take on the Concord Christian Kingsmen at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Epping will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Epping's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Mascenic Regional 6-0. Epping's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last seven contests.

Meanwhile, Concord Christian sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over Portsmouth Christian Academy on Friday. The victory continues a trend for Concord Christian in their matchups with Portsmouth Christian Academy: they've now won five in a row.

Epping's record now sits at 12-1. As for Concord Christian, their record is now 9-4.

Everything went Epping's way against Concord Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Epping made off with a 4-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
