Football Recap: Stone Memorial Starts off Right with Win over York Institute + How To Watch

Stone Memorial gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the York Institute Dragons 28-6. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Panthers just coasted through the last quarter.

Noah Potter was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 167 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 63 yards on only six carries. Those four passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Stone Memorial's leading receiver Dylan Phillips was Potter's top target yet again, picking up 97 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Looking ahead, Stone Memorial will head out to challenge Coalfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for York Institute, they will host White County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
