Santa Fe Christian extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Joshua Husmann. The Eagles took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 35-0 victory over the Escondido Charter Tigers thanks in part to Husmann, who rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards.
The team also got some help courtesy of Jairus Bolden, who picked up 42 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making one tackle.

Coming up, Santa Fe Christian will host Army-Navy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Eagles 11.3, the Warriors 10.2) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Escondido Charter, they will challenge La Jolla Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
