Volleyball Recap: Sunset Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Sunset's tournament run continued when they took on Leonard on Friday. The Knights came out on top against the Lancers by a score of 2-0.

Analyse Torrech paced Sunset's offense, picking up ten kills. Torrech got some help from Gabriela Rojas and her 13 assists. Alexa Padron controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Sunset has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Leonard, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coincidentally, Sunset and Leonard will both be playing Cushman the next time they take the court. The Lancers will head out to face the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Knights will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
