Walker suffers tenth straight loss at home

Recap: Walker Wolverines vs. Cross Keys Indians

The Walker Wolverines are still winless after their game against the Cross Keys Indians on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. Walker fell just short of Cross Keys by a score of 27-24.

Cross Keys found their leader in underclassman Lindsey Tran, who scored seven points along with six steals and five assists. Tran also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. Marta Reyes was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 11 rebounds.

Walker's loss was their tenth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Cross Keys, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-11 record this season.

Walker will head out on the road to face off against Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Cross Keys, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Atlanta Jewish Academy at 5:30 p.m.
