After a string of four wins, McConnellsburg's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Southern Fulton Indians, falling 3-0. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-15.

Leading Southern Fulton to victory were Kennedy Hixon and Elsie Murray. Hixon had 20 assists and six digs, while Murray had four digs and two aces. That's the most digs Hixon has posted over her last four matchups.

McConnellsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8-2. As for Southern Fulton, they pushed their record up to 12-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

McConnellsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southern Fulton, after both having extra time off, they and Tussey Mountain will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
