Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Hartselle's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. Hartselle walked away with a 2-0 win over Lauderdale County.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hartselle was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12.

Brenna McReath paced Hartselle's offense, picking up eight kills. McReath got some help from Maddy Johnson and her nine assists. McReath was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Hartselle is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. As for Lauderdale County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-10.

Hartselle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Alexandria on the 13th. As for Lauderdale County, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Geraldine on the 13th.
