Softball Game Preview: Glenbard East Rams vs. Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs

Glenbard East is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Riverside-Brookfield is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Rams will host the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Monday, Glenbard East made easy work of Glenbard South and carried off a 10-4 win. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Lilly Carver was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Reese Kuhlman, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Glenbard East hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Riverside-Brookfield got the win against Fenton on Monday by a conclusive 12-1.

Glenbard East's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Riverside-Brookfield, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8.
