Basketball Recap: Sandusky's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Five

If Clyde wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sandusky, they should've done a better job of containing AaZoriyon Bonner. The Sandusky Blue Streaks came out on top against the Clyde Fliers by a score of 72-60 on Thursday thanks in part to Bonner, who went 8 of 11 en route to 19 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in December of 2023.

The team also got some help courtesy of Amir Aaron, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 17 points and three steals. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points.

The win was the fifth in a row for Sandusky, bringing their record for this year to 8-4. As for Clyde, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Sandusky wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-55 victory against Bellevue on the 17th. As for Clyde, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-56 loss against Calvert on the 11th.
